What you see is what you get. Eons ago (like 10 years ago) I used to be the kind of person who would change for someone...and then I just got sick of doing it. Plus I wasn't happy with the person that I was becoming.

I feel secure that just being myself has worked well for me and most that know me like and respect me so I don't try to prove anything nor would I want or expect them to do so , it's not necessary . I'm a little different here on answers only in that I accentuate my silly tendency to act up and have fun a little more because we lack the face to face contact with which do pull it off as well as we could sitting at a table talking.

When I was working in my Professional career, I always felt the need to prove myself. But since I have retired, I am now more of the "WYSIWYG" person.

I used to feel as though I had something to prove, but I'm becoming increasingly comfortable in my own skin.
Good question gets a star.

I have no need to prove myself. If people don't like me, that's too bad. I'm real and don't believe in making false pretenses of myself. Whatcha see is whatcha get.

No walls here, what you see is what you get.
I enjoy my time here but I'm not here to prove anything.
I'm here to relax and have fun and find time to smile and learn a few things along the way :)

Well, there is that old saying, "We are what we pretend to be".
I'm just me. To hell with what anybody else thinks. That's my motto. One of my mottos anyway.
Another one of my favorites is ...
