ABSOLUTELY NOT! many many pregnant women are told to do excersizing in the swimming pool because it takes the extra weight off and allows for very easy movement and excersizing and in no way does this cause pre mature labor... if you are in a hot tub over 102 degrees you can have a miscarriage but that is about the only water that can affect your pregnancy at all...

No that's not true. One exercise doctors want you to do while your pregnant is swimming. I'm sure they wouldn't suggest someone to swim if it was going to cause premature birth.

ive not heard anything like this and i know there is mums to be who have antenatel swimming classes but i have a friend who had her first part of labour in a birthing pool she said it helped brilliantly with easing the pains of contractions

some situations marvel etc can convey forth labour, i had a pal who went into labour after being in contact in a automobile accident wherein her youthful brother died, yet i actually dont have faith putting your hand in warm water will reason sufficient of a marvel!

Heck no! I went swimming with both pregnancies [ it's great for preventing back pain ] and they were both overdue.
