Were can I get poppys the flower of remembrance day.?
I would like to get some poppys the flower of REMEMBRANCE DAY from Canada,France, & the United Kingdom. Were can I buy them ? I'm in the U.S.A Thank You

It's a bit late to be getting them here in the US. Members of the VFW and American Legion usually sell them around Memorial Day.

The poppy you are looking for is called a "California Poppy" and you should try a florist if you want the real thing...or use a seed catalogue to grow your own. (Burpee's, Park Seed, lots of seed places on-line.)

The Royal British Legion distribute them for armistice day in the UK. Do a web search to see if they have branches in the US or contact their British HQ.

Unless you just want the flowers.... try a florist! :)

In the U.K. we have the British Legion( an ex servicemans assoc.) Try the U.S. equivalent(Vets assoc.)
Failing that e-mail me your address and I`ll send you some nearer the time, we don`t see them `til October as Remembrance is mid-November.

They are illegal to grow in many places
