No they dont and neither do the family planning clinic. You might prefer to use your local family planning clinic as they are used to dealing with all ages of women and all types of contraception, so are great at offering just the right sort of advice without ever being too busy to see you. They can also give advice about anything to do with sexual health and will also give you free condoms!
You need to look in the phone book for your nearest clinic, give them a bell to find out when they are open and also ask if you need to make an appointment - you usually just turn up at the clinic and get seen quite quickly!

I'm sure they can't tell your parents. I was prescribed contraceptives at 15 to help treat a skin condition (the brand was Dianette) and I didn't need my parents' consent.
I'm sure the doctor would rather give you a prescription than deal with a pregnancy.

You can check with planned parenthood, but it is generally accepted that such information is confidential, even for those that are "underage". Doctors are bound by patient confidentiality rules. the doctor can only tell your parents if you give permission.

He won't tell your parents. It's called confidentiality and patients' rights. If he told them, he would be breaking that and could get into some serious trouble.

No, he/she can not tell your parents about any medical treatment you receive.
However if you are a student and still on their insurance they could see from the EOB what services you receive.
