What kind of journalist are you that uses the line "...so I won't have to do all the work myself?"

Unless you're a legit, 100 percent established site, the AP will not take you seriously, let alone send their press to you. You can certainly use them by attribution (i.e. "According to the Associated Press...), but as for getting stories and photos from their writers and photographers, fat chance.

Seems to me you need to brush up on journalism and the work involved before starting a news-related website.

Becoming "invisible" has nothing to do with age, but about personality. There are young people that act old, and older people that have the energy of the younger. I will tell you a little story: a couple of months ago I took the train to another city. A woman entered and I couldn't stop watching her as she was so attractive. It was the way she moved, her eyes. She had a special elegance in the way she carried herself. By the skin of her neck I am sure she was in her late 60s but she made all younger women disappear in the carriage. Age is so relative.

The AP is a cooperative news service. All of the news organization that belong to the AP cooperative submit and get news stories from AP. There is a charge for belonging to the AP. To get more information, you will need to call the AP in NYC.

To become a member, you first must forget eveything you know about factual reporting and learn to focus only on those 'facts' that destroy the Bush Administration, and, by proxy, damage our nation. Don't ever let the truth get in the way of a good story. As long as you can ghive the USA a black eye, you're in. If you are good at digitally falsifying photos, you'll get extra credit on your resume.
