Do try and see if the clog is in your drain assembly below the kitchen sink. if that is clear, 9 out of 10 times the clog is further down the line, under the slab/ basement line. If this is the case, you will need to use a sewer snake at least 50' feet long 1/2" cable. Most cables are electric powered, but I would caution doing this on your own. The sewer machine is powerful enough to break bones of the user if not educated in operation. The safe way is to call a plumber. Household chemicals are not intended to fix a solid block. Hot water, will not do any thing, it will cool before it could do any good.
Good luck

What kind of clog is it? Hair clog, grease clog? You've already used Drano? I would suggest NOT using the plunger since the Drano is still in the sink and could possibly come back and hit you in the eyes... Read the back of the Drano container... Let the Drano do it's job undisturbed for awhile and go from there....I would've suggested bleach, or even a 2 liter of Diet Coke does the trick...Since the Drano is in there, you might have to plunk down the moola to have it fixed, just be sure you tell him it's in there BEFORE he begins working. It could harm him as well....

it style of looks like a partly clogged drain. you're on the final visual exhibit unit with the snake. Do now no longer start up pouring chemical aspects like Draino down the drain. they do no longer paintings. the two they only pass down the drain and away or sit down there and create a probable volatile complication. are you able to get to the charm to below the sink? if so eliminate it with a bucket below to charm to assemble any trapped water and then snake the line. this is the suited thank you to eliminate the clog. After that's working as quickly as greater pass to Wal-Mart and purchase a mesh strainer that suits over the showering device drain hose. this could help steer away from long-term clogs.

Drano is mostly strong bleach. You probably have a grease build up. Heat about a gallon of water to a boil and pour it down the drain. You can't get the water hot enough from the hot water supply. Just boil it,please!

try the plumbing yourself. If your sink has a 'P-trap' (its a J-shaped looking pipe valve), try unscrewing it and dislodge the slime from it, clean it up and replace it back on. Good as new.
