I think they will, but I'm a Yankee fan, so I'm supposed to think that. The next few weeks should give us a good idea whether they've really turned it around. It's a long season, and there are alot of games left!

Roger Clemens is a drip, a jerk, a washed up pitcher. He gave up three runs to the lowly Pirates and then only pitched SIX innings. He is too old and has no stamina left. He is NOT the savior of the Yankees who will NOT make the playoffs this year.
Chow!!

while there is still alot of baseball left to be played i dont think the yankees will make it to playoffs unless they win the division. currently there 9.5 games back and not only will the yankees have to have an unbelivable rest of season someting very bas must happen 2 the red sox, i personaly am a red sox ran and am not feelin bias about this, i rly think that the yankees wont make it because of there start and the way the sox are playin then again theres alot of baseball to be played
also "yankees rock!" he said that because they are 30-31 thats not so good for the team with the highest pay roll in the majors... so stop being bias...

I believe they will. Just because they got off to a bad start, that doesn't mean it will tell their playoff future. They are coming along fine. They have a 6 game winning streak already, and just got a key player that they need to suceed, Roger Clemens. Plus, the past 12+ years of making it to the playoffs doesn't hurt either.

Yes, and they will win the whole thing this time. They gained five games on the Red Sox in 2 weeks. At that rate, it is the Yankees, not the Red Sox, who will win the Division, and be the favorites to win the Pennant, and then the World Series, because there is no team in the NL that looks especially tough at the moment. Certainly not on the other side of New York.

i'm hoping not it would be superb to have one season without them, sorry even though it reall does not help the sport having one team in the playoffs according to annum. I wager they're going to purchase some overpriced gamers and get in do not challenge the Steinbrenner kinfolk will hearth all people if god forbid they don't make it into the playoffs 365 days.

of course. Even thought they had a rocky start im pretty sure they can get it together now. With there batting line up which i think is the mondern day murder's row they can win the game with offense if nessecary. They got a good defense also. Not to mention the pitching they are starting to aquire.

mr. steinbrenner will find a way to get them into october...no matter what they will be in...they will buy players to get them in if they have to...clemens will not only boost the pitching staff but the morale of the team as well...plus a-rod is having a career season...

god I hope not...but they can put together some winning streak and be in the thick of wild card race...no, they have no chance to win the AL East this year...if Yanks make the playoff thru wildcard then they'll get tossed out by Angels if they meet in the playoff. lol
