I no longer care about my needs......... It always becomes about his. All I care about is his safety, happiness, welfare, thoughts, feelings and laughter. That's always the first thing that hits me. That's when I know...... gosh....... all of the feelings have gone deeper and its not just a strong friendship anymore..... It's love.

it makes you stupid, forgetful, and makes you spend all your money. Before you know it, you're up to your eyeballs in debt, you've got two kids in college, and your loving wife is now spending her days with the poolboy...and all you r money at the salon or the spa, yet she really doesn't look any better after all that "treatment."

It has changed my whole outlook on guys. Since i was sexually abused, it really makes me feel like i can be open with him and i have gained his trust and know that he will not throw it away. i feel more protected and secure around him and very safe. i look at guys much differently now then i did before and i know that not every guy is bad. i am very very lucky to have him in my life. it has also helped me heal.

Being in love makes you less selfish. You will actually think about another person's needs before you think of your own. So, I guess in some circumstances.....it makes you stupid too!
