We buy fresh fruits and veggies daily, but to actually go into a grocery store (yuck!!)..my first place I scout out is the reduced section..yep, got 10 boxes of zip lock bags for 10 cents each..dented boxes, gotta love 'em!
As for food, fresh off the boat fish, and lamb chops are the two things I can't do without

Fresh veggies. I make my list in order of the sections I will go through at the store and produce is always at the front of the store, so its at the top of my list

Salsa : when I visit an Grocery Store it is Veggies which
are very important Nutritional Food items so that would be number 1

Whatever I forgot yesterday or the day before. I go shopping every other day or so. Since I live alone it cuts down on wasting food.
