a true prep would never use words like Ehmagod or like. They are usually well educated and speak in complete sentences using real words.
need to distinguish something for you. A true prep is somebody from new england area, goes to or went to an actual college prep school. Wears things like Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, etc. Would rather dish out more money for quality and have less clothing. They do not wear ripped clothing. Normally don't even wear denim.
I would say that the person you described is a wannabe prep.

thats the classic prep. i like preps and i have alot of prep friends but they can sometimes get annoying(no offense 2 any preps reading this)
