.......Can you get pregnant 11 days before the start of your next period?? ...Or would Ovulation have already passed?
**** i know you can "get pregnant at anytime" ..but i want to know if the chances are higher at this particular time????****

I think it all depends on what is called your luteal phase - that's the time from when you ovulate to when you start bleeding, and it varies in every woman (and month to month). Typically, a woman ovulates 14 days before her period, but again, each woman is different. So I'd say if you had sex 11 days before the expected start of your period and you have a 31 day cycle, there's a pretty good chance that you were ovulating then. I don't know about chances being higher.

I have a 31 day cycle, and I know when I am ovulating because I get a clear mucousy discharge on that day. It is usually between 14-16 days before the start of my next period. After that, I don't think you could even be close to get pregnant cause the egg would dissolve by then. But it all depends, some women can ovulate 10 days before the next period...it all depends on your body.

I have a 31 day period. Most women ovulate around 14 days before the start of their next period. That would mean you ovulate around day 17, and sex starting day 12-day 18 would be when you would have sex in order to conceive. 11 days before your period would be day 20, and the egg wouldn't be good anymore (It's only fertilizable for 24 hours after being released). Like you said there's always a chance, but that would not be a recommended day to try. I got pregnant the first month I tried using these dates.

i do have a 31 day cycle! regardless of cycle length, i think 14 is usually the magic number counting backwards from you next period's due date.

it's a possibility. I have a 30 day cycle and I ovulated on a safe day, and BANGO I'm prego LOL
