There are several contributing factors....

1) The rise of "closet" homosexuals in the black community

2) Black men that have been raped or participated in risky activity while incarcerated have passed it on to their wives and families in many cases

3) Lack of education... the AIDS campaigns have not been nearly as visible in this millenium as they were in the 90's.


The main culprit though, why ANYONE get's infected by their own doing, is thinking "it could never happen to me."

I think the statistics speak for themselves, there are a huge number of people in this country that have unprotected and promiscuous sex, really stupid behavior, but there it is.
