I am a 38 yr old female..and during my menstral cycle, the back of my leg from the buttocks down to my foot hurst to touch. I have a tingling sensation..and sometimes it even hurts to sit down. Its only during my cycle. If anyone has any idea why...I would like to know.... No I havent talked to my doc yet..but will if necessary. Only serious answers please.

It sounds like a pinched sciatica nerve that's being aggravated by menstrual cramps. Have you ever been to a chiropracter? Getting adjusted might help with it.

It is possible that you have sciatia, a back problem that causes the sciaic nerve that runs from the but to the foot. Even though this hurts only with your period, the additional "bloating and swelling" from your period may increase the likely hood of this. You need to see your Dr. to make sure.

Sounds like a problem with a nerve. I dont know what it is or how long its been going on but I would see a doctor
