Wait until you are 18, because no one will touch you until you are legal. And if they do, you dont want anything to do with them.

Don't let your hormones control you! He's your coach not your potential boyfriend, and you're there to swim, not for romance. If you're serious about your swimming, you won't let your crush interfere. Feelings fade, but if your passion for swimming is sincere, you'll do the right thing!

well see if he has a gf.. if not.. be very flirtacious.. where a cute swimsuit! dont make any forward moves.. because if hes not interested, it will be awkward being in the same environment.. maybe ask for extra help afterwards on something you cant get right. or see if you can get extra hours for a one on one teaching. if hes young enough and close to your age, see what hes into, a start conversation about it.. act like you enjoy the same things.. have a good sense of humor, guys love that, but dont act like a stuck up miss know it all.

Find out if he is attached first! Dont openly flirt, or show any sign you are easy, but exchanging of glances will show your interest, let him approach you (most men dont like being chased, it is in our nature to be the chaser!), if after a while there is no sign of him making a move he is either shy or not interested! Hope you do ok.

I want ten points please. If the coach is older than you by alot sorry you can not have him or her. But if the coach is about your age tell him how you feel and ask him out on a date! Good Luck!!

just think of him as your coach, because if you make a move you will be kicked off the team and i don't think he/she is really worth it , especially if you love swimming. just keep it platonic.

If the coach is your age and it would be appropriate to go out with them, and they aren't married then go ahead and ask them out, but if it is inappropriate to ask them out then go ahead and just smile, be kind, and try to ignore the urge of how much you like them!
