Yes. Restaurants can just convert their former smoking sections into family sections (with all the smoking bans in effect, it makes perfect sense).
I have 2 kids, and it wouldn't bother me in the least.
And when my husband and I go out together WITHOUT our kids, I do not appreciate being seated near someone with a poorly behaved child (or two or three...). If I had wanted to have dinner with children, I'd have brought my own.
And surely they'd be better behaved than THAT kid over there...

Interesting concept. Never thought of that one before. I have 3 kids and I'm not sure that I would mind the separation. Besides there are times that I would rather not have my children seated next to the old man speaking obscenities.

I would definately vote yes for that. Adults can eat in peace and families can be surrounded by other families and kids can all play together. No downside.

Heck yeah!!! Put the little bastids in a whole separate building if possible. No children flights would be even better.

oh definately there is nothing worse than trying to eat around a badly behaved child....besides I can never eat a whole one....sections would be better..hee

YES!!! I won't even GO into a restaurant if there's a bunch of screaming kids in there! I come to a restaurant to enjoy myself....not get extremely annoyed!!!
