I am the center of my universe. I am the only person in the world who has dedicated his life to serving me. I am my greatest hope and my worst disappointment, my greatest pride and my worst shame, my best friend and my worst enemy. I am the product of my past and the source of my future, but I am lost somewhere in between. I know myself better than anyone but I don't know me at all.

An interesting question, and not one that people have genuinely answered, perhaps, because the question is nto "Who the hell are you" but who do you "think" you are. This calls for an inherently subjective response to a question that is normally objective looking (although we often refuse to see that and just give a knee-jerk subjective reaction), hmm?
Or is it intended to allow for some self-doubt about the answer, with "think" being a synonym for "believe" or "guess"?

Or is it simply the American idiom of indignity (i.e. "How can you dare justify this previous action or statement by your status in this world?)?

I'll combine Nos. 1 & 2 --
I think, that I am a person, a human being with strengths and weaknesses, who's strengthened because he is in love with a wonderful woman, who's weakened because he's not working to his potential in his occupation. I think that I exist, not as some metaphysical game in the mind of a superbeing, but that my senses do not deceive me and that I am real, the computer is real, and my thoughts are real. I think I'm largely defined by titles, my job title, my degree, my past accomplishments, and by my actions more than my inherent self-worth (although my relationship with my fiance has changed that largely).

I think I am a very responsible, but occasionally scatterbrained person. I am considerate of others, unless they give attitude, then, I can have one too. I love nature, and philosophy. I try to look at the sunny side and have a sense of humor. I love animals, and feel compassion towards them, kids and old folks. I love music. I have been to the school of hard knocks, and lived. I am proud of that! I have grit, determination, and common sense. I love my country, and thank those who risk their lives defending it. I can't stand liars, cheaters, and drug dealers. I wish I was in charge of making the laws for punishment of crimes. I'd REALLY enjoy that. I love people, even if I think their idiots, because I am a Christian, and it's in my nature!

I am a spirit. I am energy from the original energy from the begining of the universe. I am love, integrity, abundance, joy, power and freedom. I am consciousness within the consciousness of the universal mind. I am creating the effects in my life and I am transforming the world. That is who I am.

I have no idea who the hell I am. Some days, I am so wracked with self doubt, I'm surprised I have the nerve to put one foot in front of the other.

Who I am is what I am is what you are or what?
Who are you? Who, who, who who?
I'm Henry the 8th I am, Henry the 8th I am I am.
I am an innocent man, oh yes I am, an innocent man.
I am a rock, I am an island.
I have become comfortably numb.
I'm a joker, I'm a smoker, I'm a midnight toker.

The 'you' in your question is thought. In fact, it's just a collection of memories gathered to an idea and given a name. I am living now as 'you' read these characters but it is actually 'me' that is reading now and 'you' that typed. 'You' is an idea.
