Um...my new boss is very very hot, and its distracting! He's also very very married so no suggestions that way :) Anyone else experienced this and how did you cope with it?

Please know i would never NEVER cheat. I know too much what its like to be hurt. I fully intend to keep my head down and look and speak to him as little as possible. I was just asking about stories of this happening to anyone else to try and make myself feel a little better. Sympathy you know lol

We all get crushes, its a natural part of life!
im very very taken, and i got a crush on our now ex landlord when we first moved in, it was awful , and i used to think phwoar everytime he walked in but with time, and distance it faded, and i went off him - but it hink what made my crush worse was when me and my partner had an arguement, or when he would go through phases of treating me bad!
when we were very very happy, ex landlord was mingin!
i also had a crush on a married man when i was 15 and that was hard, i was at a funny age , and i wanted him so much and i couldnt cause he was married and 19 years older than me! i see hima round alot - hes my mums ex boss, and he was lovely - i didnt deal with it very well , but in the end i got over him
crushes do fade!!
enjoy the crush, ride it out, enjoy looking at him , have fun with it!!

there's nothing wrong with having a crush on a married man. as long as you don't act on it. like you say, he's you 'new' boss, so everything you feel is new and exciting and will eventually die down. by the way i totally agree with you, the married one are always the hottest ;)

has he given you any inkling that he's interested in you, he might have had the whole office/building lol, but its dangerous and you know it, just keep it in your head, don't be added to the list he might or might not have had you must have more self respect than that.

Keep it professional. It is okay to be attracted to someone, just don't try to act on it. Don't flirt, or try to make an advance. That's the best I can tell you.

Just think about his wife going psycho and kicking your @ss. That should help curb your urges.

Ohh I know how that is but I wouldn't want to be a homewrecker in anyways... I would just want to fantasize from afar.

I would suggest self control. How many people/children would be hurt if you and he weakened?
