I met a guy from the Yahoo personals...He was really nice and really cute...but definitely not as tall as he stated. I'm 5'1, but had on biker boots(maybe added an inch) the night we met and the boy barely came eye to eye with me. Complete shock-he wasn't no 5'9"....lol. So I haven't tried it again since.
I've met others via the internet, though not from any sites. The guy who would become the father of my baby, was introduced to me by a friend I met on the internet. He and I got our start via email.

About 5 and a half years ago, I registered at Love at Lycos, met someone and been married now for almost 2 years.

I used to work in customer service for a telephone/web dating service... so I tried out the service... met some nice guys... but also met some rumpled stilt-skins, and a few nasty-wasties.

i have tried more than a few, and no real success.
the place i met my fiance was on yahoo answers, i asked a question, he answered and we started chatting, things moved on from there
