I don't think any country would benefit from that - every culture & society needs people of all intelligence & skill levels to exist. For instance, say every US citizen did have an IQ of 190. Wouldn't everyone then think that they had the qualifications to be above jobs like janitors, cafeteria workers, etc. (any janitors or cafeteria workers out there, please don't take offense.. I'm not insinuating that these jobs are any less than others)? Nothing would get done; everyone would just spend all their time arguing.
It's like asking what would happen if every citizen was a musical genius. Sure, our country would be full of great music, but who would go to an office and competently work at a computer all day? Who would cook meals? Who would sell real estate?
So, hopefully, I made my point that any society or culture needs all sorts of people who are talented in different ways.

That will give us some awfully smart garbarge men and such. Although if that is the case perhaps Congress would solve some problems. I mean each with an iq of 190 means just one of them would surpass the total IQ on Capitol Hill right now, with plenty of room to spare.

What is your IQ. That is silliest thing I have ever heard, if you were born with 190 IQ, you would jump off that delivery table and help those Doctors start delivering babies, You knock those nurse's out and grab Mama and through her out the door because she didn't have your , Mercedes sitting out in the front for you to pick up George Bush so you could teach him how to read and write than change your diaper. to Jockey Shorts, You'd be more brilliant than you are, while your in your straight jacket waiting to be committed to the Insane asylum , just to smart for the rest of the world., just another Einstein.

Sorry about that but I am an American with Irish & German ancestors. I have no loyalty to Ireland or German You are mistaken. My grandparents who immigrated legally, became proud America" My late husband was born in Russia, came to the U.S. at age seven, learned English, became a citizen and spent 20 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a General So what has Obama done beside being a community organizer, turned to Jeremiah Wright as his mentor, surrounded himself with Communists and Socialists and refused to pledge the U.S flag and had a wife who was never proud of America until she became First Lady.

The U.S. would benefit if the losers would stay in school long enough to graduate high-school. Our drop-out rates are outrageous.
I believe there should be a LAW that everyone must complete high-school in a manner prescribed by teachers, professors and others. They would have to take a test - nationwide - that they would have to pass before they graduated....even if the dummy was 25 - he would be required to stay in school.
Many American kids think school is a drag, education is unnecessary. They drop out as soon as their state law says they can and go on to fill our welfare rolls, become thugs, have baby after baby that they can't take care of.
It's sad and disgraceful. Their parents should be held responsible and have to support them instead of the welfare tax rolls. Let them support the deadbeats...they grew 'em.

I can't imagine how having a more intelligent population would be a bad thing.
Not everyone, even very intelligent people, are cut out to be college grads. Some choose to do other things because that's what they love. Still being better educated is always a good thing too.

Of course, but that will never happen in today's world where everyone thinks they are the smartest person in the world.
