I like all kinds of music, so long as its pretty original and intelligent. My favorites are The Beatles, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, David Byrne, The Zombies, Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Donovan, The Byrds.
As far as singers, I really dig Emmylou Harris and David Byrne.

My favorite band is Led Zeppelin..have too many favorite songs..favorite lead singer is, of course, Robert Plant..and fave type of music is classic rock.

I like music genres of alternative, rock, country, pop, and Gospel.

I like stuff that is sensual - so it's more of the mood a song sets than the artist or the song even. I like Dead Can Dance, Enigma (favorite), Depeche Mode, Wicked Game by Chris Issacs, etc.
