Make a list of (how ever many you want) of the biggest rock blunders of all time.. Please try to mention specific idiotic actions of bands and not things you think are wrong with rock , thanks :)

Some of mine are, in no particular order...

1. ST. ANGER, what the f*ck was metallica thinking?
2. Kiss' Disco/pop/no-makeup Era
3. Van Halen with Gary Cherone
4. Woodstock 99'
5. Blood on the dance floor (sad a$$ example of someone trying to immitate their own past greatness)

This is just going to be one massive list, picking a first is so hard for me it's just ridiculous.

-KISS taking off the facepaint after no one cared
-SNL & Ashlee Simpson. Enough said.
-Sharon Osbourne taking out her anger on Iron Maiden in San Beradino at Ozzfest '05
-Beatles sold out
-Green Day went political
-Linkin Park and Jay-Z record and release "Collision Course"
-Pete Wentz takes it all off
-Queen even considers touring without Freddie. Now that I think about it that's a huge one right there.
-Altamont. A lot of the bands didn't show up and the Hell's Angels for security? I'd never again trust the idiot who came up with that idea.
-Woodstock 69 and 99. It was the same thing each time: bands had problems with drug use, the weather was dismal and bands just made the situation worse by getting the crowd going even more. The worst part of 99 was clearly when Green Day had to be airlifted off the stage. That sort of signals a red flag somewhere.
-Axl Rose stage diving onto a person with a video recorder at a '94 show
-Travis Barker agrees to make a reality show with his wife and children

Nu-metal bands - I thought the Anthrax and Public Enemy record was cool as a one-off, but bands making a career out of that idea? That whole genre should never have happened.

Chinese Democracy - Should it really take this long to make a sodding album? Ok, i've yet to hear it, but i'm not holding my breath.
