I normally just jump right in...except for one things and that is trustting people, no more jumpin in there it can *** you over to easily

It depends. If I know what the likely outcome of a situation is, I will jump in. (ie The swimming pool is a little cold now, but I know I will acclimate to it...therefor I will jump in.) However...not in the middle of winter. Logic just supersedes in that instance. ; )

For the big ones, I try to think first. Emphasis on 'try'.
But most of the time ...
I jump first.
Then the rest of it is pretty much 'damage control'.
But it's okay, I tend to land on my feet.
