I completely agree. Since everyone is different, how do you define normality?

I believe it is exists - but is also dependent upon the majority, so therefore is no *universal* normal, but still normal in genral.
Allow me to explain…
As a simple definition, the word "normal" represents something that is the “standard” or the “regular.” Well, as such, we would have to take a deeper look at what this really means. How do we know if something is normal or not? Who establishes this? When does something go from being say, “normal” to “not normal?" This all revolves around the fact of majority. The majority establishes the normal because when few do something against what the majority does – it is considered not normal or different. Consider sexuality as a clear and obvious example. Heterosexuality is the majority, so because there are those who do not concede to this notion or preference, they are branded as different and “not normal” by some. Of course, this is not true – people are all equal and special in their own way, but you can see the point I am getting at.
Another less sensitive example can be seen with different countries and how in some places having multiple wives is considered normal and yet here in the US if someone was to apply for a marriage license for four wives they would be quickly denied and chastised. The notion of normality rests with what society ultimately deems acceptable – and thus normal – or not acceptable or widely accepted, which is then not normal. This is just my personal view on it. As an English major, I often focus on the relevance of a words existence and thus how it is interpreted. Excellent question. Cheers!

No such thing as normal. It's all about opinion.
People just use normal as for being/doing things like most people. But again it's just a crazy opinion. I'm not normal and glad to be that way

Nope. Whatever is normal one day or during one stretch of time is completely off during another time. Normal is always defined by the society one lives in too. What we think is normal may not be normal in that society. There really is no such thing that has been agreed as 100% normal.

yes i do believe that there is no such thing as normal. life is anything but normal. in order for something to be considered as normal the largest mass would have to agree. and since there is such a large variation in peoples opinion, no one can set the standard for the so called norm,.

You're not the only one. What I think is normal, someone else may not. It all depends on the culture you live in and how you've been raised. It's completely normal to believe that there is no such thing as "normal"...

Yes.
There is no such thing as normal. Everyone is way too different from each other for anyone to be normal.
I see all kinds of questions on here asking if some woman is too skinny or some guy is too fat or some girl is too muscular, whatever, whatever. We all look around and see people who are normal (like us) and abnormal (not like us). I'm smart, and I think ignorant people aren't normal. I think I'm wrong though, that stupid people outnumber the smart people.
Anyone who's ever been called a freak looks out onto the world and sees other freaks. I think people that make a living throwing around a pigskin ball are freaks, but they seem so damned popular.
I think people with blond hair are relatively unattractive compared to people with other hair colors, but it's just a preference. Does this mean that blond isn't normal, or that I've let my personal preference become normal in my mind?
"Normal" is different for each person. I think most people are abnormal compared to me because most people are nothing like me.
I'd love for someone to come on here and tell us all what's the objective definition of "a normal person..."

No, I believe there definitelly is such a thing as "normal" and right and wrong.
unfortunatelly you are not the only one.
Yes, in some cases "normal" should be defined more loosely, but in just about any area there is a thing called ABNORMAL... therefore anything that is not abnormal is normal. A rapist is not a normal member of society... we define normal people as those who accept and subject themselves to the norms that we have in society (one of them being that it is wrong to rape someone).

I always wonder, what is normal? I don't think there is such a thing, so no, you are not the only one. =)

Maybe no definition of a "normal" person or how an individual should behave in all situations, but there is certainly a normal, or standard for many situations. If someone stuck there hand on a red hot piece of metal, it would be normal for that person to rapidly withdraw their hand and possibly exclaim something like "ouch" or "$hit that's hot".
