I am a Caucasian male, so please take this *observation* with a grain of salt. I am guessing that it makes other blacks feel like you are abandoning your race and what they feel should be your identity. If Tiger Woods identified himself as black, it would have been a victory for blacks to have such an outstanding athlete in a very very very white sport, instead it isn't exclusively blacks' bragging rights now. Remember that you are responsible for your identity. If you identify yourself as mulatto, then more power to you. I don't think that you are being racist at all.

Do no longer take what I am as an insult, It real isn't. I am with combined race guy and learnt this from him. I am mindful, and feature noticeable many examples of blacks, combined race, and so forth who turn out to be very paranoid. I detect that is due to the fact they consider different folks are continually being racist toward them. Yes I am mindful of insults and issues you have got to manage, however as I am continually pointing whatever out to my associate. What I am mentioning to him is that no longer each person has a predicament due to the fact of his co lour. On many circumstances I have witnessed him considering that any individual is racist, simply due to the fact any individual is watching at him. People appear at each and every different each moment of the day. I attempt to aid he see all this, and it's for his possess welfare. He was very worrying at all times, however no longer such a lot any longer. Yes alas we are living in an international filled with racists, however do not allow this break your spirit. Be blissful with who you're. God made all people and nobody has the correct to make someone consider like they should not be on this global. It is lack of knowledge so that they can make those folks sour eventually. Don't allow them to flip you into the equal form of individual. Beauty is within the center and can shine via in the event you allow it. Stand tall (continually) and be pleased with your background, it doesn't matter what colour, faith or sexuality. No one has the correct to pass judgement on any frame.

well lets see,
i am of Indian, African, white, and Hispanic parentage,,
so I guess even though my father looks black/African American,
and my mother looks white/ American Indian,
that makes me mulatto as well,,, even thow I have dark brown skin and kinky, nappy hair,,,,, right,
no,
I'm black and proud, with no need to worry about weather anyone calls me what ever,
I happy about my humanity, (as being anything other than human would not be half as fun)
but hey you peruse what ever labels make you happy
why not start with the human label and work your way out
(and honestly your more an octogenarian than anything else and that's a great thing to as most Americans are mixed anyway)

I don't think that makes you racist at all. My son is biracial and I think finding your identity and figuring out who YOU are is something every biracial person needs to deal with in their life. Be who you are and screw what everyone else thinks and says.

You are both, and should embrace both. You are a mix that does not fall into one category. You are not racist, you are simply not one race. Be who you are and don't worry about others opinions.

Because you're not aligning yourself with the abused and oppressed peoples of this nation. You have the ability to be who you are and stand on your own feet with your chin high. Some people don't like that.

My kids are all three biracial and they know who they are, and identify with both races. You should too. Every race has wonderful things about it.

Actually, you are biracial. The word "mulatta" is as outdated as "*****."
