I mess with this guy who I've known for 9 years, we've been tight since we where teenagers. He's always had two chics throughout his life and has maintained that player status for as long as I've known him.

We've recently gotten closer and he's wanting to hang up his pimp cain and settle down with the main thang, so should I trust him? He's always been straight up and down with me and kept it real when it came to me. He's says I'm different.......but I'm no fool..I peep game before game is ran on me.

Players get tired.. Then they find the right girl and want to settle down.. Other girls know he's a player now and don't want to date him.. So the sure thing is you.. So go slow and see how it goes..

A good marriage is built on trust. It doesn't sound like you trust him. Even if he's completely truthful, if YOU lack trust, it's not likely to work.

But you've known him for 9 years and we have never met him, so how should anyone here know.

By the way, "Singles and Dating" is the appropriate area for this question, not "Men's Health."

just like most things in life, players soon get played out. It takes a lot to maintain a multi girl lifestyle, and once you find a real woman whose worth settling down with, it will happen.

People want different things in different stages of life. The question really is, do you trust him to stop playing. If you don't, move on. It's not worth the heart-ache.

Are you talking about getting married? Just date him for @ least 5 years before marring and if he can wait that long... he's not a player anymore. Personally, I wouldn't trust him, but i dont' know him.

If you have been part of the "two chics" scene, why should he think that you are any different now? If you allowed it before, he would expect it to be OK again.

Trust him to be what he has always been. The question is whether you trust that it is still worth it!
