There are many different websites that offer a variety of feeding guides for your beardie, but to be completely honest the amount your beardie should have eaten is dependent on the specific diet you have been giving him already. If he is used to receiving a specific type of food it will take him a while to warm up and eat the dark lettuce just a matter of beardie preferance they are like little humans. With my beardies I typically leave the vegetables in the cage for a portion of the day periodically spraying it to keep it hydrated and fresh ultimately my beardies will end up eating it all but thats just with my beardies it will vary greatly. The only thing I keep a watch on in regard to time limit is the amount of time I leave crickets, silk worms, and super worms in the cage which I leave typically anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes in the cage at which I remove afterwards so they do not harm my beardies in any way. I hope this helps and good luck!

In the diet section it has some great advise!
If you think he isn't eating as much as he should it is probably because most babies wont go for the vegetable matter. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hope you get it figured out
