80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

These are two terms that cannot go together. Life is the constant movement and transformation of energy. Meaning is knowledge based on thought. Life and thought are opposed. Thought is the very thing destroying your ability to live. The need to desire for meaning is put there by your society and is an infection that feeds on life. Drop the need to know the meaning and live.

"To accomplish the effect of a cause, that been accomplish with out effects, but through the direct cause of God own, consequence to become"
To which the mining of Life its of no consequences to us, but to our own spirit, and of course to our inert self, so if there is more mining that the one God gave to the world within the purposes of Humanity to become and achieved some perfection, until then Life will be nothing but a human condition to be experience to learn first what is to be Human?.
By the way : "Life is God Business". which doesn't mean that we can ask and try to understand such a thing with out God direct help, although it will required a lot of time and respect for our own self to do this so, as well than respect and considerations of many others, peoples, persons a/o individuals.
Of course the mining of life its greater than our own self's, God steal love, our self's. "no questions ask"

To pro-create and make enough $ $ to support them. Learn from life's lessons and grow from them and pass them on to the next generation so they can do the same. Yeah, what is the meaning of this?

I think everyone has a purpose in life, not everyone knows what it is. I believe we are put here on Earth to live the best life we can and if we get it right, we enter nirvana, if we don't we have to stay here.

The answer depends on your standing point. There is not an exact answer for it. Your belief mechanism, your perspectives about life, your social relations determine the answer.
