i'm 14 going into high school. i'm 4/10 1/2. i have gotten my period a year ago. am i destined to be this short???
my mom is 5/3 and my dad is 5/6. my twin is 5/1!!
my dad wants me to get "growth shots" but my mom says they cause cancer because they increse all your cells.
any advice? anything to make me GROW???????

i dont recommend growth shots since youve already gotten your period im 14 and also really short but its actually a good thing bc guys always feel like big around you and they like it for some reason haha and i think your twin is taller bc one twin almost always ends up smaller, one of them gets more nutrients and takes up most of the mothers womb

first of all being short is not that bad.i now lots of people that r the same height as u.but i don't think u r going to grow much more just try eating right and that might help.
interesting fact
people are 2 inches taller in the morning then in the afternoon

Nope. You're destined to be small- but what is wrong with that? My sister is 5 feet and is an officer in the Navy- besides do you have any idea how humiliating it is to be taller than ALL of your boyfriends?

A person's height depends on genetics. Since your parents are short chances are you will also be short. To my knowledge, there are no FDA approved "cures" for this. My advice is to be happy with what you have.

you come from a family of short people, unfortunately, you'll stay short. but i've never heard of growth shots...
