I am not sure why, but every dog I have ever had and ever dog I still have is that way! I can only conclude that the little blow that you do in their face or ear is annoying and hanging the head out the window is kinda like the flying/ free thing.

When you blow in a dog's face, it is like shining a bright light in your eyes or screaming in your ears... However, you can teach a dog to tolerate it .... Which is a good thing for when little kids stick their face up close.

Sticking their head out the window provides lots of different smells, kind of like listening to a concert for us. Unfortunately, it can be more like a hard rock concert, because the fast air can hurt their nose, eyes, and ears, and flying rocks and dust can do damage.

For many animals, blowing air in their face is a sign of aggression. It is a sign of aggression to blow air bubbles in the face of another sea lion.

There's a BIG DIFFERENCE between having your face in the wind and someone blowing their breath in concentrated area of your face. It does NOT feel at ALL the same.
