I hate google, it's the most overrated thing on the internet. Alltheweb.com is by far superior, as is the yahoo search engine. I think what I hate most though is when people use google as a verb... as in saying something like "i googled my name today and there were 32 hits"

you are 100% right. i hate it. It's even in Movies now! i think it started with Hitch when will smith talked about googling someone. ever since then its been the "cool" thing to say. "go ahead and google someone" i dont know if you saw the top 10 words of the year at like dictionary.com. google was #2 looked up. it's so annoying.

I googled mine and got 154000 hits. I googled a friends and got over 2 mil. Perhaps from a historical or cultural point of view your name is just not involved. Google is the best serch engine going period. I have never found anything on Yahoo that I couldn't find on Google. Do you have a sample of such comparisons?

google is a lean, mean searching machine...there's absolutely nothing to complain about the nice simple home page...yahoo used to be like that once upon a time....ah the glory days of Web 0.9
