Well our school is going to Six Flags. But it's an "unofficial field trip." Basically parents, and not the school, sets the trip up, but the school still helps with it. Anyways, parents and teachers were debating if we should be made to wear our uniforms. After much debate, we cannot be forced to wear our uniforms on a field trip not run fully by the school. But many parents and teachers want this as we would be easier to find, representing the school, less likely to misbehave, etc. So the deal I have is if I wear my school uniform on the trip, I would get 15 points Extra Credit in every class. That sounds like a great deal (because I am always worried about my grades, and I really need some EC in some classes), but none of my friends are doing this. My friends don't care as much as me about grades, so they are not doing this. What should I do? Should I do it to boost my grades? I mean, its only clothes, but I also want to have fun. Should I do it? Can anything bad happen?

If you want to boost up your grade, then I think you should do it.Do what you want not what your friends want. They don't care about their grades, but if you do then wear your uniform. The field trip is gonna be about having fun and you'll be too busy on the rides and everything so even if you wear your uniform, you probably won't even notice it's there, and plus it's just clothes and by wearing a uniform for extra credit, that sounds like an easy A right there.

You should have told these people that it is sick to hold such a thing over your head and that they should know that you guys would "not act up" with or without the uniforms on. Too bad you people don't just have a t-shirt with the school name on it. Or how about every one wear a yellow shirt? If you need the credit do it, be a rebel with your friends. I sure don't see how a uniform can be comfortable or even appropriate at such an outing. Chinese children always wear their uniform when when on such outing, but then that is a darn communist country and no one can think for them self anyways. (Sorry ranting since I just got back from that hell hole)

no way---that's actually quite disturbing. uniforms symbolize the schooling system's obsession with conformity. by wearing the outfit for ec, you are saying that you support everyone looking a like, just so you can get extra points in school!!! i don't like uniforms or ec. extra credit should be earned by doing difficult school work, not wearing some horrible uniform. they totally take away any trace of individuality one has left in them.

if you get extra credit, then you might as well do it. just wear shorts under your skirt if you're going to go on rides. and forget about doing any water park rides unless you have somewhere to put your clothes. as for anything bad happening, just dirty old men leering at you because of the whole sexy school girl thing. creepy.

I would if it was comfortable enough for the weather... or at least wear it there and take a back pack with comfortable clothing... in case you go on water rides...etc.

If you get extra credit in all your classes, I would DEFINITELY wear it. It may not be comfortable and people might stare, but who cares what people think!!! That's what I would do, but you do what you feel is best.
