Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester was diagnosed with cancer - a type of lymphoma I think - in late 2005 or so. Some fans sell bracelets like the Armstrong ones and the proceeds go to the Jimmy Fund, an organization that fights childhood cancers. The Sox have a long long relationship with the Jimmy Fund.
