If the Cubs can pick-up a good starting pitcher along the way and their hitters stay healthy I believe they can win the division. This is an off year for the Cardinals and the Brewers are starting to come back to reality.

I think every team in the Central proved they don't have what it takes to take over first place from the Brewers. (This also goes out to the person who said they've lost a lot of ground) Since starting 24-10 with the best record in baseball and a 7.5 game lead in the division they have gone 10-19 and still are in first place by a solid 5.5 games over the Cards. When you go 9 game under .500 for a month and only lose 2 games on your lead that's: A) Not losing a lot of ground jasdog1234 and B) showing the other teams aren't good enough to capitalize on a more than adequate opportunity to seize the lead.

Hopefully the Brew Crew. The Cardinals are an embarrassment as a team, and their slide into the World Series last year was almost as embarrassing a when they won it, all with a mediocre team at best.
Chow!!

I was beginning to think the Cubs could win, but Marquis and Lily have been horrible recently. I still think now that The Brewers are the team to beat there.

The Cards will come back and win the NL Central. Trust me, they'll find some way to win.

The Cards because they are finally starting to play well while the Brewers are a 5 game losing streak away from being below 500. and they are starting to lose a lot of ground.
