Okay I think I found what I need for ram my manufacturers site said that I can use:
Maximum Amount / Type of RAM that can be Installed:
4096MB DDR PC3200

and I found one on http://www.Newegg.com
it is: Crucial 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory - OEM

will this work for my computer and get up my 248mb RAM enough to have WoW playing good?

most memory modules need to be installed in "matching pairs" so you may have to remove your 248 meg stick....you can still install the 1GB stick on its own in slot 1 of the motherboard....or you could install 2x512 sticks in slots 1 and 2....that's what i mean by pairs...the memory has to be the same type and speed as each other...if you install 1 512 in slot 1 and 248 in slot 2 you will find that your computer will run at the slowest speed (248) so if your going to use 2 memory slots you will need matching pairs of ram....hope you can understand this (i broke my hand today and my left one is cramped from all the typing....and yes 1GB is enough memory for your needs

yes if you get 2x512 you will have 1024 meg....thats just over 1GB but you wont see any real differance between 1GB and 2x512meg.....its really the same thing but probably cheaper to get 1Gb stick

The new memory should work. I believe the only time you have to match the memory modules is when they are DDR2.

You will probably want to try your computer without the 248MB and check the performance.

256MB is a fairly small ram chip these days, but if that is the larges one that will fit on your PC then that will be the one you need. I would need to know what brand model and model # to see what you need.
