how do you get pictures out of memory stick PRO duo and into your computer?

i need to know . the stick is in my video camera and i dont know how to connect it or with what to my computer? if someone could please help me THANX

Your video camera may have come with a USB or Firewire cable. If you have a memory stick PRO DUO I assume it's a SONY which should've come with a cable. You can connect your camera directly to your PC and it will show as a "data drive" and you should be able to transfer your photos from the camera to the computer. Absent the cable, you can purchase a memory stick DUO ADAPTER. If you have a computer that has a Memory Stick DUO slot this adapter will allow you to remove the card from your camera to transfer the data to the PC. Check out:

You can connect your camera directly to your computer or there is an adapter that you can buy that you attach to a USB port and you plug your cameras memory stick into it and download the pictures that way. You can find these at the Radio Shack web site. Look for one that will fit your memory stick.
