Someone told me AL teams are simply better than NL teams
But I don't believe that. There has to be something more than that. Why is AL teams winning over NL teams. (Even all star games)

It is really hard to put your finger on the exact reason(s) why the American League seems to have the advantage over the National League. If you go back in time you will see that the National League had the same kind of streak where they were winning most of the time. I really believe the competition is equal and the American League is now experiencing the good times and would expect to see the National League turn it around in the future. The American League does have the advantage in American League parks because they all have that solid DH but you would think it would even out in National League parks because those teams would have the extra pitcher.

Well, for a start, AL teams have a DH. As a result, they seek out more hitting talent and have a deeper pool of hitting. This goes a very long way when a DH (usually a solid, powerful batter) bats in place of a hitter. I would say that this is a start. Otherwise, World Series are usually pretty close, and you'll see teams from each league winning them. Look to the last 6 years for proof of this.

the dh gives the al a slight edge, but in an nl park, its a pitcher's duel. also, of your not playing the brewers, the nl team has no power

Well, in the AL they have more offense. Even if they lose the DH, they still have 8 other guys who were brought to their team for one reason: to score runs

They have more power hitters which can make a big difference.
