Call your local Pet store's and ask if they carry Nature's Miracle. It will take any smell out of anything! Most pet stores carry it. It's a wonderful, fabric safe enzyme that really works! It will positively solve your problem. Follow bottle directions.

I'd suggest getting her a crate so she doesn't have the chance to potty under your bed. As for the odor itself, you can put some baking soda down on the carpet. Dust it along the areas that contain the odor. Then take some white vinegar and pour it over the baking soda. Take a scrub brush and scrub the carpet. Use a lot of elbow grease. It needs to be ground into the carpet in hopes that it will get down to the padding underneath. Let it sit for a little while, and then rinse. Vinegar eliminates the odor. However if the urine has already soaked down into the padding, the chances that you will get the urine odor out are slim. The padding would need to be replaced, the subfloor treated, and either the carpet professionally cleaned or the carpet replaced as well. Vinegar and baking soda is the cheapest method that I know of. Add: I had the carpets steam cleaned when my cat was urinating on the floor. I should have consulted a professional first. They suggest that you do NOT steam clean the carpets. Any odor that is hiding underneath will be lifted, making the smell stronger. Professionals can clean your carpet, but they will use an enzyme killer, will probably tear up the carpet and the padding, treat the subfloor, replace the padding, and either clean the carpet or replace the carpet as well.

Look in your telephone directory for "janitorial suppliers" most of these will sell to the public in 1 litre containers. But the main problem is animals frequently use the same place, so the rug-rat probably has been more than once. So you need to lift the carpet and treat the underside, also replace the underlay.
In one very bad situation I had to replace a section of floorboard. The only sure way to know you have got the urine out is to use a ultraviolet light - sometimes called black light - source in a darkened room (all urine fluoresces under ultraviolet).
Failing that call in one of these companies, they are the best:-

Try pouring vinegar directly into the area and then blot up with a towel. I just had the same problem with my little poogie, but I got out my carpet cleaner and I couldn't even count how many times I went over the area where he tinkled. But as soon as the carpet dried, I ran my hand over the spot and my hand smelled like urine still. So, I had heard once that vinegar will get the odor out, so I doused it with the vinegar and blotted it up and when it dried my hand didn't come back smelling like dog tinkle.....but I still washed my hands afterwords :)

Try cleaning the area with a colourless washing up liquid
5mls in a cup full of lukewarm water then soak up as much as you can with a clean towel.Next blot the area with one part white vinegar to two parts water.Again use towel to soak up as much as possible cover area with several towels and something heavy on them, and allow area to dry for at least six hours!
If this fails get a professional to help you .Leave the windows open and air the room too and buy one of those plug in fresheners!
Good luck

Go to Home Depot and get Folex spot carpet cleaner and follow the directions. I would also suggest looking elsewhere in the room as it sounds as if the "rugrat" has not revealed all of the piddling places in the room. Even cleaning it once with water should have alleviated part of the smell.

It sounds like the smell is actually in the sub-floor. You need to pull back the carpet and seal the sub-floor with some latex paint. This will seal the plywood sub-floor and prevent the odor from leaching back into the carpet.

Shaving foam is supposed to be quite good (scrub it in then wash out), but the WHITE vinegar or baking soda's a good bet.

All of the above ingredients are also non-toxic too.

try bicarbonate of soda. sprinkle it on the area, and leave overnight. Then vacuum it up. Might need several goes. Another thing is either Febreze or Oust. Anything else will just mask it for a while.
