Okay, Im 29 weeks and my OB isn't too talkative or informative at my appt's lately. I have only gained about 10 lbs so far... my belly is still pretty small...I apparently measured correctly at my last appt (as he only said "good" to himself as he finished measuring my fundal height)
Has only one else experienced this little of weight gain?

I started out at 119 lbs and am now about 129. As i was not overweight - this could not be the excuse for the little weight gain

According to charts you should have gained about 20 pounds by now.

If you are concerned ask if there is a nutritionist you can speak with to make sure you are getting adequate nutrition.

It sounds like you are doing just fine. From this point on you will probably gain a pound to a pound and a half each week so you'll be somewhere close to the reccomended 25 pounds of weight gain for a pregnancy. I wouldn't worry too much but at your next appointment you need to talk to your doctor about telling you more or being more available for questions at the end of your appointments. He shouldn't make you feel like you're wasting his time or that your worries are nothing. After all the only person who knows your body well enough to really decide if something doesn't feel right, is YOU.

I don't think that is too unusual. I only gained 6 pounds by 24 weeks, but had gained a total of 25 by the end of both of my pregnancies. You really start packing on the pounds the last 2 months. As long as you're eating healthy, consider yourself lucky! Congratulations!

You usually start gaining weight towards the end of your pregancy. I was like that where I weighed 115lbs and by the end of my pregancy I weighed 139lbs and I had twins. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Just wait, it will come.... :) If you are eating right, then there should be no issues. But, if you are eating less than expected, then you could eventually hurt your baby.

If everything is normal then just relax since weight gain does not mean anything.
