Oh the beauty of etymology. ;) It shows us how easily people live up to their titles.
And then there are some other words in a similar category that can be broken down to reveal their real meanings.
For examle: leg is lature- clearly defines a group of men who hang out checking out the legs of the hot office ladies and determining that the law can come later. ;)
and diplomacy- Is made up of
dip lo and macy which obviously means a "dip" (aka foolish person) who would rather look at the low prices at Macys than take care of business.
And finally
Bureaucracy - Which means, "Quick, go crazy and stuff all this money in your bureau so we can take personalized vacations!"

That I have never heard of. This is meant to be humorous, I know, but politics should be about the many, meaning the majority. Unfortunately, it is about special interest groups who unite to form a common front. Whether it be big oil or big religion. That is why Howard Dean( and on to Iowa, arrrrrrrgh!), struck such a cord with young voters. He had a grassroots approach that appealed to them. We are the many, and those who feed at the pig's trough of political greed are the parasites we need to expose and eradicate. It can't be done if we all don't vote. It is people like you that can make a difference because of who you influence, by example, not by proslytizing. Perhaps we can get the scum to turn on each other if we can get the tics to talk. Their time might be up. This is one of the few things I am passionate about, besides Rocky Road ice cream and fly fishing, and you and my friends on Yahoo, of course.

My Fellow American,
I think you are being too kind to the politicians, and most of the blood sucking creatures are probably offended by the comparison. ;-)

If you're going to try these stunts, at least get your sources right. "POL:I" is a GREEK root - not Latin.
