The muslims of TODAY have nothing to 9/11 which was in the PAST. Most of the terrorist have been KILLED or CAUGHT with the EXCEPTION of Osama Bin Laden. So, should today's muslims been held accountable for the actions of their ANCESTORS?

Here's a better question: considering that 16 of the 20 terrorists responsible for 9-11 were from Saudi Arabia, what the hell are we doing in Iraq? Oh, I remember. We're searching for WMD. No, that's not it. Maybe it's still "Operation Iraqi Freedom"? Nope. Hmm. We're searching for Saddam? No. Already did that. Boy, this is getting tough. I got it: we're fighting terrorism, right? But wait a minute. You can't fight an ideology with bullets. Darn. Could it be that this is a blood-for-oil, privitized war where Bush and Cheney's corporate cronies are raking in billions of dollars? Could it be that the production sharing agreements being negotiated between big oil and the Iraqi government which will give the oil giants control of 70% of their oil production is the underlying reason for this war? Hmm.

The muslims alive TODAY were also alive six years ago! It was not their ANCESTORS who attacked us on 9/11, it was their contemporaries. For every terrorist killed or caught, the Wahhabist cult of Sunni Islam has recruited ten more. So YES today's muslims need to take care of THEIR problem today.

Absurd. 9/11/012 was less than 6 years ago. There are still a lot of Islamofascist terrorists & sympathizers out there. Any descendents of the 9/11 terrorists are children now.

Most of the Muslims of six years ago had nothing in common with the terrorists, let alone the Muslims of today. Despite the attempts by the ignorant to convince people otherwise, the vast majority of Muslims are peace loving people, or at least as peace loving as ordinary people get. In fact, that's a better characterization. Muslims are, by and large, just like anyone else. There are nearly 2 billion Muslims in the world. If they all wanted to destroy us, we'd be gone.

Is it not the religion that has been the driving force behind the actions taken by terrorists? Has this religion been strong enough to influence nations to war that have lasted for years? Is it normal to promote violence in teachings of any religion, opposed to being persecuted for your religion? I can not agree, Muslim is more then a religion, its a system with rules and ways, disobeying them has severe consequences.

Of course you cant judge all muslims based on some terrorist acts. But since its human nature, we can't stop that. The Republicans are exercising their hatred by electing a leader that would "fight" them. I'd say he's doing a VERY good job. 3000 deaths and no results! e

The major problem is I don't hear any Muslims speaking out against any of the attacks in the past , suicide bombings etc.
If Muslims want respect from Americans they need to stand up and stand against violence and help defeat the evil doers otherwise they are as guilty.

I do and don't agree. First off the U.S. provoked the 9-11 attacks. The "terrorists" were just retaliating from the invasion of Iran in the 90's. I do believe the mulsims are still fighting because of it and because of the invasion of Iraq in 2003. If anyone should be held accountable it's the U.S. They shouldn't have invaded in the first place. They are just trying to get control.

"their ANCESTORS", this makes it sound as if was 100 years ago! The Koran teaches this mentality and the Muslims want world domination (much like Hitler) with their religion as the only religion, they will settle for converting most nations, however they want Americans DEAD!!!!!!
They cannot be reasoned with or trusted, they consider themselves at war(jihad) we as a Nation should never become complacent enough to allow more attacks!!!
