like groups like sailor moon sailor scouts,and the simpsons and stuff like tht.cuz me and my cousins are discussing a groups theme and we need good ideas

Scooby Doo is good (and easy) especially if you have a big dog.
The Adams Family.
If you're all girls/women, the Fanta Girls are fun. Or The Spice Girls.
All guys - The Village People. Or KISS.

Well, that depends on the size of the group. It's easier for a really small group really to take on virtually any suggestion, the larger the group, the bigger the group suggestions have to be. For instance, how many do you need for the Wizard of Oz? You can get away with just three for a group, Dorthy, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man (or any combination, I just selected those three as that the order who joined the journey to Oz; Dorthy starting off by herself, then joined by the Scarecrow, then the Tin Man). Have more than three, you can always add another character like the Wicked Witch of the West, the Good Witch of the North (Glinda in the classic movie, though that's the name of the Good Witch of the South in the books), a flying monkey, the Wizard himself, etc.
So, here's some suggestions for groups, just keep in mind these should work with most group sizes

Sitcoms make for great ideas (Married With Children, the Munsters, Giligans Island ... pretty much anything with unique, stand-out clothes works), How about a rock band (KISS), , Scooby Doo was a real good one too (the clothes are so tell-tale), we did a wedding party once where all the guys wore the dresses and the girls wore tuxes (or suits), Stephen King movies (at work the department theme was Stephen King and each group did a different movie), Carrie (at the prom, we did this once, I was one of the prom girls in a long dress and another girl went in a suit as a guy - hehe), Smurfs, Super Heros.

Use costumes like Vampire costumes and others having a poking nostril, wizard and witch, Pumpkin positioned on the pinnacle. If there's a drama scenes save interior reach, u would desire to by making use of a few costumes on your Halloween occasion. happy halloween !

Go as groceries. There are tons of costumes you can make for cheap, plus its fun and unique. For example, one of you can go as a bunch of grapes (cut holes for your head and arms in a trash bag, and attach purple balloons all over the bag). One of you can be a box of cereal (cut leg, arm and head holes in a large box painted to look like a box of your favorite cereal. Another person can be a shopping basket (cut leg holes in a large rubbermaid tub, and attach black handles over your shoulders to support the basket). A fourth person could be a chocolate bar (aluminum foil as a hat, and on the shoes, with a brown wrapper made from painted paper bags). Just be creative!

Perhaps classic horror monsters like dracula, wolfman, the mummy, hunchback, frankensteins bride. Or the three stooges. How about Donald Ducks nephews, Hewey, Lewey, and Dewey.

One of my favorites that I saw a few years back was a bologna sandwich. The pieces were made out of foam from a fabric store and then fashioned appropriately. 2 people were slices of bread, one was a slice of bologna, one was an onion slice, one was a tomato slice and one was a cheese slice. Substitute your favorite sandwich meat.
