I hope she is true and means what she said. Maybe it was for the public.

I don't think her stupidity is 100% "an act." I think that drinking and driving in itself is pretty dumb. So, if her "dumbness" was all just an act for publicity, it was a very dangerous one. Why would anyone drink and drive as "an act"? Was she also "acting" when she pretended she didn't know she wasn't supposed to drive after her license was revoked?
If she hopes to change, tho, more power to her and I wish her luck. She is serving her time. Maybe she will learn something to better herself and her life.

IMO it's a PR attempt to rehab her reputation.
Only time will tell if she will change
I think it's about marketing her though and she seems to thrive on attention, so it's about turning the attention to something positve.
Yes, I think it's very calculated.
She will never be Princess Di here though - lol.

I would like to believe this ordeal will change her for the better and for some people jail time does move them in right direction, for others it doesn't.
If she does change for the better and whether or not it is for the short term or long term, only time will tell.

I think she believes that right now. She is in a place where hope is all there really is. It does show that she's is doing a lot of soul searching and thinking which is really all she can do right now.

No - it is all about publicity - when she gets out all the headliners are going to be fighting to get her on their show. This way she can make money talking about her "ordeal". Poor spoiled rich girl. Where is the media when you really need them to cover real life issues. Let us concentrate more on getting our soldiers home.

IMO she will slip up again. She has shown herself to be a spoiled child, and will continue to do so. Unfortunately for her, her daddy couldn't help her this time.
