Hmm... I think you mean just a ojiua board. I have no idea what a weegee board is. The ouija board is just a toy. The messages are caused by the movements of your hands which you do sub-consiously. People at the board try and guess answers and without realizing it they move their hands. So no, you're not contacting evil spirits. It's just a toy.
In fact, my younger siblings were watching a show called "Mystery Hunters" or something. Anyways, the people their explained that if you use the Ouija board with your eyes closed and have a friend record all the letters, all you'll get is gibberish.
Some religous people will tell you not to mess with the board. Scientists give the explation above.
However, feel free to invite some friends and try to creep them out!

Some people who have used ouija boards claim that the devil wrote on it and told them to commit a crime, and that the compulsion to listen to the unknown (by them) source was so strong that, when taken to court to testify for their own innocence, they blamed the devil/their ouija boards and were sent to a mental facility instead of jail. Others claim that same course of events, but that the devil controlled their body and made them write the words of another with their own hand on their own board. I personally believe that ouija boards being links to communications with the devil are just rumors, and find no plausible explanation for it besides a) someone making up a ghost story to tell their friends or b) someone was just really tired and forgot that they wrote to themselves.

Ouija boards have nothing to do with demons or devils. Nor do they have anything to do with spirits. The movement is caused by the ideomotor effect.
See the link below for details.

Number 1 - There is no such thing as a demon or devil who is here to manipulate my soul.
Number 2 - The 'game' is controlled by one of the people using it.... no one else !!!

No...I thought I actually read the instriction once a loooong time ago and it specifically said one person (usually the owner of the game) should move the piece. Fun to scare your friends with, for sure.

No, people just say they are because a minister created it to talk with the spirits in the afterlife. But somethings that happen are a little creepy.

I don't think so... my friends and I had a discussion on it, and we all agreed that if there really was a demon in the board, then it wouldn't be owned be hasbro ;).

The short answer is: No.
It's actually "BEE-Gee" boards (or more specifically, their albums) that are the work of the devil....
