most of gms newer models do have axises from under the seat or trunk carpet, they Finlay got smart enough. i dont think the 01 cav has this though. to lift the seat you need to push toward the back of the car on the black tabs under the right and left side of the seat. lift the front of the rear seat and look with a flashlight and you will see them. if it has it you will see a circle about as big as the bottom of a 2 liter bottle. its under that
