who died from overdose of icey hot patches and bengay ointment--both of which can be fatal because of the aspirin content. I did not know you could die from too much aspirin. Do you think these two companies should be liable for her untimely death? What do you think about all the aspirin in these pain patches? Why are they not forced to disclose the facts?

I saw the news, and it was a real overdose. Anything can kill if not used properly. It is a tragedy, but an avoidable one.

I'm sure there's a warning on the box, so they'd have no case. I'm also betting that they were using more than the recommended dosage. I've been using Icy Hot for years with abosolutely no problem.

It is medicated cream, so like someone above said an overdose of anything can kill you. I just never heard of one from these creams.

A person can die from just about anything...to much water...to much sun...to many pancakes....it helps to have common sense..
