Go after your dreams and passions with the tenacity of a Pit bull, but sometimes you can not have until you, and, or it are ready.
*You may want the cake, but can't eat it til it's baked and decorated - well, you could, but it would definitely not be as yummy and pleasing to the eye.
** Plus, somethings are best when waited for. Remember the wrapping on the gift? The slow hand of a lover? the anxious pleasure of waiting for package or letter?
***Think of it as tenacious patience.

Naw. The first people in line are generally in the buffet line.
Fast and easy, but of somewhat dubious quality.
Best to sit back, review the menu and with a glass of wine, anticipate the meal and enjoy the ambiance.
The "leftovers" are only the choice items that, in their frenzy, the gluttons missed.
Well worth waiting for.

Not at all! The good things that come to those who wait are the things that are even better than what the people who were too impatient get, just wait a little longer and you'll see ;)

Personally I dont mind sloppy seconds. In my experience that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Not always. I've gotten something brand new but because it was through a government agency, I had to be approved a grant so that I could get it at no cost to me.

Does that mean people that are serving a long sentence in jail are going to win the lottery when they get out?

Well at least the baggage is always of the highest quality. It doesn't seem to tear open or...go away or anything.
