(in the USA)That there are biological explanations for all our ills, from obesity, to murder, to hyperactivity.(not to mention medicines that will alleviate any of them)
(in the world)I think it's that each culture is right, no matter what their beliefs,(or traditions), (or what the cost to assert them),and that all others are wrong.

This definitely influences human behavior because it lets people not take responsibility for tomorrow or for 'after they're gone'... cause they won't be around when everything falls apart, they think; therefore they can be careless in how they handle the world around them. The truth is that the future you create today will be yours to experience, cause you'll be in it. We had better do all we can to make that future good, if only for our own sakes.... cause we just keep coming back!

We are not more violent, we have the media putting a spin on everything and because of the Internet, information travels so fast that we know what is going on in each country all of the time.

I forget his name but it happened back in the 50's I believe. There was a radio talkshow host that began reading a fictional story about aliens coming to earth. Everyone listening to him at the time believed him. He was a well known host so quite a number of people heard him. He later had to go back on the air and clear it all up.

That God exists. Which is actually a good lie, cause it keeps nations in check. So everyone is one big happy family.
The problem comes when differnt nations butt God's against each other. Like the christians (USA) and the Muslims (Iraq and others).
