The simple answer is 5!
But on a further analysis, it can be proved to be 10 sides
Count the sides outside and also inside the shape and u get 10 sides!

Geez, guy. Do a google search on pentagon. You might bet the building in Washington, D.C. It doesn't make any difference. Count the sides.
