No, Dial-up is slow and cannot be sped up. You can theoretically connect at 56kbps, but that depends on a lot of factors including the quality of the telephone lines, if they are dirty, etc. The only way to get faster Internet is to get broadband (Cable, DSL, etc.).

Dialup have a max of 53K per the FCC...so even if you got the best connection..you are gonna be limited. Slowest DSL or CABLE broadband will give you a much faster conenction for about the same price your paying now.,

i anticipate you relatively propose 5-6kB, no longer kb. Bytes no longer bits. To be a tad technical, for each 8 bits of archives sent (a byte), communications additionally demands something called a initiate bit, a variety of of supply up bits and probable a parity. frequently you will in straightforward terms have the commencing up and one supply up bit. So if the modem comments that it linked at 50k bits in line with 2nd, I won't divide by 8, yet by 10 to get the bytes in line with 2nd. lots of the others are splendid, there are a pair of issues that is carried out, yet those will in straightforward terms be minor, incremental advancements, and could remember on your on line behavior and the specific centers and archives you're utilising.

You defenitly not increase the speed of your connection,

just do this regularly to keep your speed constant

In most dial-up connections its seems to be happens, that u r comp getting infected by malwares & adwares which infects your dialup speed unnecessarily & use your bandwidth which is almost slow.

What you have to do is?

Store the pages you most visited frequently as favorites in Internet explorer or bookmarks in Mozilla.

download malware & adware remover from lavasoft.com named ad-ware se personal edition.
which keep safe your cookies & temp internet folders

& keep your system safe from viruses, lots of viruses use your bandwidth hiddenly.

try this out

if you not get proper solution pls convert your dial up into DSL/Brodband connction

Ahw yea...good old Dialup! I was on it for years...thank God I'm off it now...

Stay away from Freeware Accelerators...they are ****!!!

This will optimize your hardware settings for your dialup modem.

But what helped me the most was CableNut (not just for cable) to adjust my Windows Registry Settings that are directly related to how and what your modem does via Windows.

After installing cablenut then go to this site for the settings to use with it...

Hope that helps you...did me...My ping (online gaming) went from 400+ to 220 (In the US in UR more like 90) & my download speed went from 4 Kbps to 8.
