Orientation would mean nothing to me if I could find a person I could trust enough to be considered a "best friend". Trusting people are hard to find, and sexuality means nothing if that person will do anything for you, like a best friend should.

My best friend is a lesbian. She is the most wondeful person that I know.

Honestly it is their choice and I wouldn't mind either way. I would support them and wouldn't think any less of them.
